It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Mayor Mike Copeland this morning. Not only did the Olathe community lose a true leader, but the Huston family lost a wonderful friend.
Mike had a passion to see Olathe grow, and he humbly led our community through some of its greatest seasons. First and foremost, however, came his family. From the Huston family and on behalf of Huston Contracting, sincere condolences are with the Copelands during this time. To Mike’s wife, Maria, and their three children, we are lifting you up in prayer and are heartbroken for your loss.
Thank you, Mayor Copeland for your leadership and years of service to this community. You will be truly missed.
